Somerville Kids’ Voices

the kennedy tigers won their game  vs. east somerville school the score was 36 to 32 kennedy tigers. With good players on their team they are a good well running team. Fran, Ella, jenny, Rosalie are some of the good players on their team there is many more on the team but i don’t know their names. There are 2 awesome coaches their names are ms. sears and mr.sharp which are the 7th and 8th grade teachers.There is a good crowd of people that are supportive for their school and team. GO KENNEDY TIGERS LET’S WIN THE NEXT GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!

do you know all about your cell phone so if you dont you could ask any questions so  you can tell me what kind of phone you have or if you dont have a phone tell me what kind of phone you want if you could get one.So i can tell you what phone i have a phone called a voyger and most of you know what that is.. My phone is a txter phone and it is a good phone but it just got bad updates so you might want to go get it or not.If you have a lot of friends and family it would be good for you to txt with.So that is what i say about phones and they rock toooo.

Hey ya’ll i’m going to talk about when i’m going to the high-school.

On april 7th i went to the high-school.

I went their beacuse for me to know where my classroom, and where to find my locker, and also for me to know who is my teacher.

Well it was fun cuz u know u got to met some new people.

 I saw some of the my friends that i have 3 years that i haven’t seen.

Well i could say high-school is much better than middle school.

If u want to become a doctor, scientist, or whatevevr u want be you have to work hard for it.

Like me my dream is to become a scientist or a doctor, but i have to really work hard for it and study really hard.

In the high-school you have to be ontime, you can’t be late.

They already tell me some of the rules.

Next year i’m looking forward to going to the high-school.

In the high-school you got to choose anything you want

first of all i have been reading these books and they are so awsome they are so good that i could read one of the books in one whole day if i had the time.the books are called the clique series if you are a girl and you kind of like gossip you should read the books.My teacher is a dude and wants to read the clique book and see what kind of books we read??So i am like on the second book on like page 100 and i am letting my friend read the third one.I know like 9 people reading the clique series already.So if you like they have the books in the kennedy school library and somerville library.GOOD LUCK if you read the books and enjoy.

The very first game for the girls basketball team was at the Cummings School against East Somerville. On the first half of the game we were losing by 2 points and our team wasn’t getting our rebounds or following our shots. On the second half we were doing really well and catching up on what we were not doing before. We were getting better on following our shots and getting all our rebounds. Our team won with 5 points more then the other team and we were all happy. On the second game at Argenziano against Lincoln we didn’t do as well. We were definately getting our rebounds but we were not staying with the other team. They won by 3 points more then us. We were not mad and were playing fair and high fived the other team saying “Good Game”. The game was still great and we were still happy cause we played well and were being fair.

I don’t want to talk about that game right now, it gets me mad. We lost by 10 or 12 points, something like 40 to 30. We played Lincoln Park/Argenziano. They were the champions last year and it looks like they’ll be the champions this year. They’ve got the fantastic four, a group of 8th graders who are all tall and buffed up. I scored ten or twelve points. It was between Kevin and me who were named player of the game. Mr. LaFauci is a good coach. My teammates are good, no they’re awesome. Next week, we’re playing East Somerville. I heard their court is mad small. Mr. LaFauci’s mad and he’s going to make us do mad drills next week. To win the game, what we need to do is pass the ball more, play defense, especially man-to-man D. I predict I’ll score 14 points. Check in next week for the update.

The Patriots have the best quarterback in the NFL, Tom Brady.  They also have the best catcher, Randy Moss.  Tennessee is the worst team in the NFL.  The Dolphins could splash them, but the Patriots would shoot them!  The Giants would fall down in their presence.  The Longhorns are awesome!

Hey what’s up. I’m going to tell what I like to do when I’m bored.

When I’m bored i like to go to the computer lab, go outside, taking pictures, going to my friends house, or chat on the phone.

What i really like to do is taking pictures, or go to the computer lab, or going to my friend’s house.

I don’t really like to chat on the phone, because i don’t want to give my parents bills.

But i could say it’s fun chatting on the phone not always.

The only time i chat on the phone is when somebody calls me.

But the computer i could stay all night long chatting with my friends, or playing games.

What i like is taking pictures u could crazy pictures, or you pretend to be modelling.  That’s what i like to do when i’m taking pictures.

Ok, well I’m bored and MCAS is making me even more bored. Ok well IM REALLY STRESSED because MCAS is tomorrow.  Tomorrow is Friday and today is Thursday. My friend who is right next to me is also really nervous. I was told that I scored extremely high in the MCAS last year and it was higher then normal grades I don’t know what that’s supposed to mean.  I usually get high grades. I feel as if I’m a normal girl. Well back to the story. MCAS IS TOMORROW.  Hopefully I will get high grades again. That would probably make me pass the 6th grade. The MCAS is on reading. I’m probably going to pass it cause I could read since I was around 5 years old. But math on the other hand… Not good.  I have pretty bad grades and always get in trouble because I don’t usually do good on my math homework.
Well, I’m kinda excited for the MCAS cause for once it would be something different then normal things like work work work and the same thing we usually do all day.
Well this is 6th grade. First year of middle school. And that makes me A lot more nervous because that sounds so much more harder then…5th grade…And it should be more harder during the MCAS.

The MCAS was so boring all week you have to sit there and read and do multiple choice and open response questions. One good thing is if someone didn’t eat breakfast the school gives you breakfast. They give it to you so you can get your brain power working and you can get it for free because you would do good work. We have to always take our time. The bad thing they make you do after is they make you read after you already were reading all day. They should let you sleep for like the whole day and we should go out for  free time for like an hour and be with our friends. That is why the MCAS is boring to most people. Most people take two hours or less to do the MCAS.
